FASS students and societies can approach the club regarding communications and publicity matters.

Here’s a list of communications-related support the club can provide, and how to make use of the communications system!

1. Publicity Matters

 

FASS Club will only provide publicity for FASS-related events and/or projects.

Provision of publicity support will be prioritised as such, in decreasing priority:

  1. FASS Club events and/or projects,
  2. Academic Society events and/or projects.
  3. All other FASS-related events and/or projects.

Publicity materials, such as but not limited to posters and/or write-ups, should be provided by the relevant organisers when publicity support is requested.

 

 

2. Posters

 

A soft copy of the poster must be sent to FASS Club for approval.

Posters displayed within FASS must be endorsed with the official FASS Club stamp.

Posters must:

  1. Include the organizer contact together with the date, time, and location of the event.
  2. Not be larger than A3 size.
  3. Only be displayed on the FASS Club noticeboards, outside LT9 & along AS1 walkway.
  4. Not number more than 30 per event.

Posters may be displayed for a total duration of 2 weeks before the event. For extension of duration, approval must be sought from FASS Club.

Posters are to be removed by the relevant organisers within 1 week after the event.

FASS Club reserves the right to remove any poster.

 

 

3. Electronic Direct Mailer

 

EDMs are sent out to all FASS undergraduates via email every Tuesday. Any requests should be sent in by Monday 5pm latest in order to be publicised that week.

EDM requests should be made to FASS Club with the following materials:

  1. Publicity poster. (Landscape or portrait. Width of 600px.)
  2. Write up. (Maximum of 150 words)

All publicity materials should include the organiser contact together with the date, time, and location of the event.

All EDMs will only be posted 1 week before the event. For extension of duration, approval must be sought from FASS Club.

 

 

4. Facebook

 

Facebook post requests will take 5 working days to process.

Facebook post requests should be made to FASS Club with the following materials:

  1. Publicity poster. (Landscape or portrait. Width of 600px.)
  2. Write up. (Maximum of 150 words)

All publicity materials should include the organiser contact together with the date, time, and location of the event.

All Facebook posts will only be posted once. For additional posts, approval must be sought from FASS Club.
